History

From the get go, our objective with Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Mega Battle was making you feel like a Power Ranger. We wanted to develop a game where the player feels accomplished and empowered by going from a simple teenager, to a super hero and finally a giant robot. All in a single gameplay session. It’s the Power Rangers game we all dreamed of playing as kids! The gameplay is unapologetically inspired by our favorite old-school beat em up like Turtles in Time and Streets of Rage II. Nevertheless we included fun new additions like verticality moves, an unlockable skill tree and coop team moves. Finally, making a fun co-op gameplay was one of our game development’s pillars and decisive in portions like the Megazord fights and the Power Blaster.

• CLASSIC POWER RANGER DNA INTACT: Morph, use weapons and martial arts, and summon the larger-than-life Megazord!
• INTUITIVE AND DEEP BATTLE SYSTEM: Includes light, heavy, weapon and projectile attacks. Players will be able to integrate weapon strikes into different combo strings!
• LEVELING AND CUSTOMIZATION: Players can level-up and unlock new moves, attacks and weapons.
• UNLOCKABLE CHARACTERS: Unlock Tommy Oliver in his Green and White Ranger costumes as well as the human characters Rocky, Aisha, Adam and Kat from MMPR season 2!
• NOSTALGIC: Each level is based on a classic episode from the TV series. The levels are filled with familiar dialogue, background details, cut scenes, and enemies pulled straight from the first two seasons of the show!
